Sapporo Kanihonke has confirmed that an employee contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on Dec.28th.

Dec. 26th – Sapporo Kanihonke was notified that an employee had close contact to an individual who tested positive for COVID-19. After learning that the employee could be positive for COVID-19、Sapporo Kanihonke immediately ordered the individual to stay home.
Thorough cleaning and disinfection was carried out soon after the report was given.

Dec. 28th – The employee was tested positive with COVID-19.
Employees at Sapporo Kanihonke have been carrying out the necessary measures to prevent the spread of infection at the restaurant; therefore under the inspection with the relevant authorities、other employees were not considered as close-contact.
Second cleaning and disinfection carried out in consultation with the local Health Dept for double safety.
